Don't Buy!!!

I purchased this filter and it is not a replacement for the LT500P LG filter. When I put it in it didn't seem as snug as the one I pulled out even though it would not turn any more. When I ran water from the dispenser and opened my refrigerator it had at least a gallon of water that had leaked from the filter. I put the old one in then went to Home Depot and paid the $50 for the original LG LT500P and it worked like a charm, no leaks. Save your self some work and don't buy this filter!
